Mural Restoration Go back to the main murals page Project: To restore murals to original state. These murals were damaged during a remodeling project. Panels were cut out of the walls for electrical work, and the murals had hundreds of small splatters of gray paint when the ceiling was repainted. The solution: the walls were patched, cleaned, sealed, repainted to match existing murals and then varnished. Before: Holes were cut into the mural in order to access electrical items. Before: The cut areas would need to be re-created. Before: Extensive areas of the mural were removed in order to access the electrical work.
